About the Artist - Wang Ting 王婷

Born in 1986, Wang Ting has nurtured a deep passion for Yixing purple clay (紫砂, zisha) since childhood. Drawn to its artistic and cultural richness, she began her formal journey into teapot craftsmanship after completing her studies, dedicating herself fully to the art of purple clay teaware.

Throughout her career, Wang Ting received hands-on guidance and mentorship from respected masters in the field. Under their instruction, she refined her technical skills and developed a distinctive design philosophy that balances individual artistic expression with the spirit of the times.

Her works are recognized for their natural fluidity, elegant forms, and meticulous workmanship. Each piece reflects her appreciation for simplicity and harmony, often characterized by clean lines, a grounded aesthetic, and an understated beauty. Her teapots are widely admired among collectors and tea lovers alike for their thoughtful design and refined craftsmanship.
