普洱茶
PU-ERH TEA (PU'ER)
Pu erh Tea (Pu'er or Pu-erh) 普洱茶 is the most exquisite art of tea drinking. It is a traditional Chinese specialty that is produced in the Yunnan province where the land grows wild tea trees that are hundred to thousands of years old.
The production of this variety involves steaming and pressing the leaves, then allowing time for full fermentation and oxidation of the tea, which can take up to several months.
Comparative to fine wine, Pu-erh teas have a collectible value which increases over time, as the flavours and textures of the tea evolve and become more complex.

PU-ERH TEA CAKES - RAW/SHENG
Raw/Sheng refers to pressed Pu-erh before any fermentation. The flavour and complexity of the tea evolves through years of aging, and results in sweet, floral, and grassy characteristics.
Treasure Green is proud to feature our exclusive collection of Raw/Sheng Pu-erh from 2012, farmed and aged specially for our store.
熟餅普洱茶餅
PU-ERH TEA CAKES - COOKED/SHOU
Cooked/Shou refers to full fermentation of the tea leaves, which is then pressed into cakes, bricks, or tou chas, to be cellared for post fermentation.
This time will allow the Pu-erh to become rich, earthy, and woody in taste. Treasure Green offers our oldest cooked/shou Pu-erh aged for over 40 years.
