For the first time, Tea Master Olivia undertakes the full in-house roasting of a special variety of Tieguanyin Oolong, a heartfelt project shaped by curiosity, respect for tradition, and years of refining tea craftsmanship. Using a careful eight-hour, two-stage roasting process, each small-batch production reflects patience, precision, and attentiveness at every step.
Crafted from a 45% oxidized oolong, the leaves were guided to their ideal expression with the wisdom of Uncle Lin and his family, the original farmers of this Tieguanyin. Their mentorship and generosity made this collaborative creation possible, honouring the lineage and spirit behind the tea.
During tasting, the tea reveals a beautiful evolution of flavour:
- The first infusion opens with gentle fruity notes - bright, soft, and inviting.
- Subsequent brews unfold into nutty and caramelized tones, warming the palate with depth and roasted sweetness.
This progression showcases the tea’s complexity and Olivia’s careful roasting, offering a journey that is both uplifting and comforting. Its elegant structure allows it to pair seamlessly with both savory and sweet foods, making it a versatile companion for thoughtful moments or shared gatherings.
To mark this personal milestone, each box contains 101 grams, an intentional gesture symbolizing Olivia’s first-ever roasting journey, with one extra gram of meaning, gratitude, and heart.
Each Signature Reserve Box is produced in very limited quantities, available only while supplies last, with pre-orders limited to four boxes per order.
