Crafted in Yixing using Jiang Bo Ni (降波泥), this teapot embodies a quiet elegance that harmonizes beautifully with daily tea practice. Jiang Bo Ni is a contemporary Yixing clay blend known for its warm reddish-brown tone, soft matte texture, and subtle natural speckling. It offers stable heat retention and smooth performance, making it suitable for a wide range of Chinese teas.

While most of our teapots are sourced directly from the artists’ studios, the “Purity 無塵” piece came through a trusted Yixing specialist who curates fine works from independent makers. We were instantly drawn to its balanced proportions, expressive clay texture, and the serene energy of its design.

Design Concept “無塵” (Purity)

The engraved characters 無塵 mean “without dust,” a phrase often used in traditional tea philosophy:

心若無塵，茶自清香 “When the heart is free of dust, the tea reveals its pure fragrance.”

This teapot embodies that spirit. Its rounded body symbolizes harmony, the clean lid line expresses simplicity, and the overall silhouette evokes clarity and stillness. It is a piece designed not only for brewing tea, but for centering the mind — a vessel that invites calm, attentiveness, and presence.
