Organic Xiao Ye Pu-erh, is a cooked pu-erh, a smaller leaves variety. It undergoes a rigorous fermentation and aging process, often being stored for extended periods to allow the tea leaves to transform and develop unique flavours.
The production process of cooked Pu-erh involves plucking, wilting, rolling, heap fermentation, and drying, among other steps. The fermentation process introduces changes to the chemical composition of the tea leaves, resulting in distinctive aromas and flavours.
This cooked Pu-erh tea has a deep reddish-brown color, with a thick soup and a smooth mouthfeel, carrying the characteristics of aged tea, earthiness and hint of herb aroma.
