Aroma: Gingseng, steamed vegetables, warming herbs
Tasting Notes: First brew brings out a burnt caramel color tea liquor, bitter but with a sweeth finish. Heavy notes of smoked cedar. Very complex flavour notes. Slight bitterness. Second brew is very britter, stronger, more astringency and slight tartness. 3rd brew is very start, very tart on the tongue, umami, mealy, laomy. Fourth brew brings out chestnuts, smoother brew with less harsh tannins. Fifth brew brings out bright, round flavours. Slight tartness. Finishes off very sweet and smooth
The aged quality of this tea comes out in early brews as flavours of smoked cedar and tartness come out. Middle brews bring out umami, savoury and brothy flavours. Later brews bring out chestnuts while the tannins smooth out. This tea finishes very sweet and smooth
