Eight Immortal Dan Cong is a premium Phoenix Dan Cong tea known for its high aroma and exceptional quality. Belonging to the Zhi Lan Xiang, 芝蘭香 (Orchid Fragrance) category, this tea offers a rich, bold floral scent with prominent orchid notes.

Its fragrance is intense yet refined, and the bright golden liquor has a unique, refreshing sweetness with a smooth, lingering finish. Eight Immortal Dan Cong is celebrated for its clean, sweet aroma, creating a captivating and memorable tea experience.

This tea earned its unique name from an enchanting story. Originally grown in Fengxi Yaohou Village, the mother tree for Eight Immortal Dan Cong was cultivated by our ancestors using special grafting techniques. After generations of careful selection and propagation, eight strong and healthy tea seedlings survived, each reflecting the fine qualities of the mother tree.

In 1958, it was noted that although each tree had a different shape, they grew in unison and produced tea with the same exquisite flavour and aroma as the original. Inspired by the tale of the "Eight Immortals crossing the sea," where each immortal displayed unique abilities, these eight tea trees were named Eight Immortal Dan Cong to honor their distinct and harmonious character.
