Ba Le Shui Ping Teapot 巴樂水平壺
Features & Benefits
Classic Shui Ping Form
The Ba Le Shui Ping is a refined variation of the classic Shui Ping teapot, one of the most respected forms in Yixing craftsmanship. Renowned for its balanced proportions, low center of gravity, and precise horizontal alignment, the Shui Ping design delivers a smooth, controlled pour and exceptional brewing consistency, making it a favorite among Gong Fu tea practitioners.
Zi Jia Ni Clay
Crafted from Zi Jia Ni, a premium variety of Yixing purple clay, this teapot is admired for its fine texture, rich reddish-purple tone, and natural breathability. The clay gently enhances the aroma, body, and smoothness of tea while gradually developing a beautiful patina through years of dedicated use.
Balanced Heat Retention
With a wall thickness of 5, this teapot provides an excellent balance between heat retention and responsiveness. It maintains a stable brewing temperature while allowing the unique character of each tea to unfold naturally.
Handcrafted Craftsmanship
Individually handmade using traditional Yixing techniques, every detail reflects careful attention to symmetry, proportion, and finishing. The simplicity of the Shui Ping form leaves no room for imperfection, making it a true demonstration of the artisan's skill.
Ideal Gong Fu Brewing Capacity
The 140 ml capacity is perfectly suited for personal tea sessions or sharing with one companion. Its versatile size makes it suitable for brewing all varieties of fine tea while offering precise control over multiple infusions.
Design Concept
The Shui Ping, meaning "Level Balance," is celebrated for its perfect harmony of form and function. Every element—from the height of the spout to the position of the handle and lid—is designed to create visual and functional equilibrium. The Ba Le Shui Ping continues this enduring tradition, embodying the quiet elegance and precision that have made the Shui Ping one of the most iconic Yixing teapot designs.
