Design Concept
The Xiao Shen Deng teapot draws inspiration from the traditional shape of a small oil lamp, symbolizing warmth, illumination, and quiet elegance. Its rounded form and balanced proportions embody the harmony and simplicity often associated with classical Yixing design.
About the Artist – Wang Ting 王婷
Wang Ting is an accomplished young ceramic artist and a member of both the China Arts and Crafts Society and the Yixing Pottery Association. Born in 1986, she developed a passion for Yixing clay at an early age. After formal training and mentorship under experienced masters, she refined her technical skill and established a design philosophy that blends personal expression with contemporary aesthetics. Her works are known for their harmonious proportions, elegant lines, and refined craftsmanship, earning praise from collectors and tea enthusiasts alike.
