Ru Kiln汝窑 pays homage to one of China’s legendary Five Great Kilns Ru 汝窑, Guan 官窑, Ge哥窑, Ding 定窑, and Jun 鈞窑, celebrated for their exquisite craftsmanship and timeless beauty. Every piece is individually sold and designed with a unique silhouette inspired by classical forms, suitable for all types of tea.
Distinct for its soft matte texture and gentle blue-green hue, Ru ware features a non-reflective glaze (无光釉) and natural crackle patterns.
All pieces are crafted with respect for traditional kiln aesthetics.
汝窑 (Ru ware), in particular, is known for its soft matte glaze and intricate natural cracking (开片), forming irregular patterns that develop golden thread and iron line textures over time through tea’s nourishment.
Design Concept: The square shape symbolizes steadiness and order. Over time, tea infusion nurtures golden and iron-toned lines, giving each piece a refined, antique charm.
