Ru Kiln汝窑 pays homage to one of China’s legendary Five Great Kilns Ru 汝窑, Guan 官窑, Ge哥窑, Ding 定窑, and Jun 鈞窑, celebrated for their exquisite craftsmanship and timeless beauty. Every piece is individually sold and designed with a unique silhouette inspired by classical forms, suitable for all types of tea.
Elegant and slender, inspired by the proportion of a scholar’s finger (板指). The cup’s understated Ru glaze reveals depth through subtle cracking and velvety texture.
All pieces are crafted with respect for traditional kiln aesthetics.
汝窑 (Ru ware), in particular, is known for its soft matte glaze and intricate natural cracking (开片), forming irregular patterns that develop golden thread and iron line textures over time through tea’s nourishment.
