Aroma: woody, rich herbs, steamed vegetables, spinach, chinese medicine flavour.
Tasting Notes: starts off very strong, rich and smooth like thick espresso with an herbal quality. The second brew has a more intensified minty quality with very forward tasting notes. Very dark brew. Third brew is sweet with a thick mouthfeel, minty, acidic notes. Fourth Brew is very strong with mint/herbal flavour, thick and complex. Fifth brew has a very neutral flavour.
This tea is reminiscent of strong coffee with its rich and thick texture. Later brews bring out almost minty flavours with very forward tasting notes. Herbal notes and flavours are very evident in the fifth and later brews.
