About the terracotta - Da Hong Pao clay is one of the highest qualities of Hong Ni (red clay). It is produced in the Zhao Zhuang region in Yixing. The raw red Da Hong Pao clay is fired and crafted into vermilion red teapots. The crafting process is very tedious due to its high shrinkage. 

Da Hong Pao teapots are bright and crimson red in colour. The teapot feels sophisticated and sturdy when held. The body of the teapot has a glossy, dewy shine that. Through repeated use and care, its colour will be enhanced over time. Da Hong Pao teapots are suitable for Puerh, Black, and other teas.
