Handcrafted from aged golden bamboo, each functional piece in the kit is fashioned to be practical yet stylish thus enhancing the art of making tea. With each use, the oils from the tea nourish the aged bamboo. The utensils develop a patina and become more lustrous over time. 

To ensure the appearance of the utensils, they should be gently cleansed by hand, using only warm water and without any type of detergent. 

• Strainer – The long handle allows the strainer to be used on faircups and vessels of all shapes and sizes.

• Tongs – The tongs help to grab teacups and teapot lids with an easy yet firm grip.

• Pick – Pleasingly shaped, the broad end of the pick is used to dispense tea leaves into the teapot and the pointed end is used to clear clogs in the spout of the teapot.

• Tea scoop – In addition to scooping the tea, the ample size of the tea scoop allows the tea leaves to be presented.

• Mini Scoop – A smaller scoop used for handling smaller leaves, including matcha.
  
  

• Tea towel – Made of natural cotton, the tea towel is used to gently clean teaware and wipe up excess water.
