Shui Xian (meaning "orchid") Oolong got its name from its long-lasting orchid aroma with hints of reed leaves (zong ye). It is rich and full-bodied, with a refreshing, sweet aftertaste. It yields a beautiful, vibrant, golden amber-coloured tea liquor. Its leaves are thick, curly strips that are dark, dewy, and olive green in color.

This oolong is known to be an extremely long-lasting tea. It is always a pleasure to witness these large glossy leaves expand in the water.
