Seven Year Itch Cliff Oolongs Special Edition   七年之癢岩茶特別限量版

Imagine a single cup of tea that could mesmerize you with the aromas of roasting chestnuts and spring blossoms at the same time.

Since the 1990s, Tea Masters have cultivated a variety of hybrids of the Iron Buddha on the mineral rich soil of the Wuyi mountains in Fujian, China. The cliff terroir enhances the floral profiles of the tea with bouquets of freesia and honeysuckle while also adding fascinating nutty and amber tones. Further roasting and aging reveal unique new facets in each hybrid tea variety.

After carefully aging them for seven years, we present you with a special Oolong ready for your enjoyment.

The Collection has:

36g Golden Goddess金觀音2012

Akin to the curtain rising on a much-anticipated performance, the dry leaves of this tea release a tender and sweet, almost cocoa-like aroma. Then, like a passionate flamenco dancer, the steeped tea bursts with smoky flavors and aromas of oud wood. In a cup, the liquor of this fine tea appears as an amber sunset captured in your hand. With each steeping, the figurative flamenco dancer dances in a crescendo, mesmerizing the taste buds with intense, full-bodied, mineral flavors. Sensuous and bold, this tea will surely leave a lasting impression

36g Yellow goddess黃觀音2012

Over time, the Yellow Goddess has metamorphosed into a grand symphony of aromas. Ignited by water, like dazzling fireworks, flavors of robust oud, rich earthy resins, and minerals explode on the taste buds; with aromatic notes of pine smoke, plum blossoms, and prunes. The initial robustness of this tea floats away gently and lands on clouds of Osmanthus, echoing its Golden Cassia lineage. Sweet and satin smooth over several infusions, the tea eventually fades to the milder bouquets of dewy orchards and bamboo groves in the morning mist.

36g Mei Zhan Plum Blossom Champion  梅占 2012

This exquisite oolong found its way from Anxi county to the Wuyi Mountains in the 1950s. After years of aging, this tea has developed a complex yet floating silky texture; gentle as the first snowflake that lands on plum blossoms. Tangoing with steaming water, this tea’s aroma blooms into a bouquet of Freesia and Almond Blossoms with hints of oudwood and nuts peeking through. Flavors of slightly sweet toffee and roasted nuts linger on as you ready yourself for the next cup.

Each tea is also sold individually.
