Besides for the astringent flavour, it is also used by herbalist as a remedy for lowering blood pressure; enhancing blood circulation; lowering cholesterol and weight loss.

We carry only the top quality and of course from the best origin.  It is important if you drink for the taste and for it’s health benefits.  Remember, only one leaf per pot!

PU-ERH TEA (PU'ER) 普洱茶

Pu erh Tea (Pu'er or Pu-erh) 普洱茶 is the most exquisite art of tea drinking. It is a traditional Chinese specialty that is produced in the Yunnan province where the land grows wild tea trees that are hundred to thousands of years old. The production of this variety involves steaming and pressing the leaves, then allowing time for full fermentation and oxidation of the tea, which can take up to several months.

Comparative to fine wine, Pu-erh teas have a collectible value which increases over time, as the flavours and textures of the tea evolve and become more complex. Treasure Green offers a rare selection of Pu-erh with teas from the 1970’s.
