Bingdao 冰島 is located in the Mountain of Lincang, Yunnan, with an altitude of 3,200m. The ancient tea tree is of the big leaf variety; soft, thick, and known for its exceptional quality of leaves and complexity. The 2014 harvest was especially successful.
This Pu-erh provides smooth, well-balanced earthy and woody tones, is rich in flavour, and leaves a mild sweet taste. Each pressed brick is designed to break apart easily into brewing portions.

Brewing Guide:
- Tool: Use a terracotta teapot or porcelain gaiwan
- Break off 1 square (9g) from the brick for 150ml of water
- Water temperature 100°C or 212°F to rinse
- Rinse tea leaves by pouring hot water on the leaves and drain immediately
- 1st brew 15-20seconds at 90-95°C or 194-203°F
- 2nd brew 15 seconds at 90-95°C or 194-203°F
- Add 5-10 seconds to each subsequent brew, water temperature at 90-95°C throughout
- Good for 7-8 brews
